You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering seamless, delightful, and sustainable digital experiences and be part of a purpose-driven organization where design has real impact—on millions of users and the planet.As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll lead design initiatives across one or more product teams, helping define and deliver user-centric digital experiences that support Eneco’s climate and business goals.
You’re a strategic thinker and strong visual communicator who balances customer empathy with a drive for impact. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to shape the future of digital energy solutions.
You bring:
A completed HBO/WO degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Psychology, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design, preferably within agile digital product teams.
A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design and measurable impact on real users.
Mastery of tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Expertise in design thinking, user research, service design, and accessibility principles (WCAG).
Experience leading design for complex digital ecosystems (e.g. platforms, apps, portals).
The ability to influence and inspire across disciplines and seniority levels.
Strong understanding of how digital product teams work with engineering, data, and product functions.
Experience in maintaining and evolving design systems at scale.
Take ownership of the end-to-end design process across complex customer journeys— from research and discovery through to detailed interaction design and delivery.
Partner closely with Product Managers, Developers, Analysts, and fellow Designers to align on problem spaces and opportunities.
Lead and conduct user research, usability testing, and validation to inform design decisions and advocate for customer needs.
Design and iterate on scalable, accessible, and elegant UI/UX solutions for Eneco’s web and mobile platforms.
Contribute to and help evolve our Design System, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and accessibility across digital touchpoints.
Facilitate workshops and design sprints to co-create with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Mentor junior designers, helping elevate design craft and critical thinking across the team.
Present design strategies and solutions with confidence to stakeholders and leadership, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
