As an Engineering Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Eneco’s digital customer platforms. You’ll lead two cross-functional product teams focused on customer acquisition and retention, delivering high-impact solutions that directly support Eneco’s strategic goals: growing the customer base, increasing loyalty, and boosting lifetime value.
You’ll own the technical landscape, provide architectural direction, and stay hands-on with development (approximately 20%). This is not a hands-off leadership role — you’ll collaborate closely with your teams to build scalable, customer-centric platforms that deliver measurable business value.
Partnering with Product Managers, you’ll translate roadmap priorities into robust technical execution. You’ll also be responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a strong engineering culture built on innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.

Driving technical excellence across the stack: React.js / Next.js, Sitecore JSS, .NET Core, and mobile technologies like Kotlin, Swift, KMP, Jetpack Compose, and SwiftUI.
Shaping the technical roadmap with a focus on architectural integrity, scalability, and security.
Collaborating with Product Managers to assess feasibility, advise on technical trade-offs, and align development with business outcomes.
Facilitating agile rituals (stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) to support delivery and team cohesion.
Recruiting, mentoring, and growing engineers across frontend, backend, and mobile disciplines.
Championing modern engineering practices, continuous improvement, and a culture of experimentation.
