What you’ll do

Eneco has defined ‘Digital Transformation’ as a main goal in its corporate strategy. Consequently, we envision a data driven company where we serve our customers and suppliers based on up-to-date, secure, and accurate data. 

Your role as the Data Academy Lead at Eneco is multifaceted, encompassing both hands-on activities and strategic responsibilities to build and lead the Data Academy. This initiative is crucial in supporting Eneco’s ambition to become a data-driven company. Your main tasks are: 

  • Build the data academy: Establish the Data Academy as a mature, company-wide body, promoting data literacy and awareness across Eneco.
  • Develop training programs: Collaborate with data teams (e.g., Power BI, Data Warehousing, Ingestion team) to create suitable training materials for various roles and levels within the organization.
  • Organize educational events: Lead the organization of hackathons, inspiration sessions, and knowledge sharing events to foster a data-driven culture.
  • Guide data teams: Assist data teams in developing in-house training materials, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.

Is this about you?

  • 5+ Years experience in training, learning & development.
  • 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in data related projects.
  • Strong knowledge of data-related topics such as data analysis, data visualization, data management and able to translate the needs to suitable trainings.
  • Organisation skills for inspiration - and knowledge sessions (e.g., Hackathons, Data Insights, peer-2-peer sessions with other organizations).
  • Affinity with working in an international environment.
  • You know how to work with different stakeholders and overcome conflicting interests.
  • Excellent communication skills and good command of the Dutch and English language in speaking and writing.

You’ll be responsible for

  • ​​​​​​Lead and set up the data academy: Spearhead the establishment and leadership of the Data Academy, aligning it with Eneco's digital transformation goals.
  • Develop and oversee training curriculum: Collaborate with data teams and departments to build a comprehensive training curriculum, deciding what to develop in-house and what to source externally.
  • Strategic vision and innovation: Formulate a strategic vision for the Data Academy, staying abreast of market innovations and informing relevant departments of opportunities.
  • Manage the data community: Oversee the content, events, and collaboration within the Data Community, fostering a data-driven culture.
  • Collaboration with HR and other departments: Work closely with HR and other departments (like Privacy and Security) to ensure a broad and aligned educational approach.

This is where you’ll work

You will be joining our diverse and inclusive team. Your team consists of 2 Data Management Specialist, a Data Quality specialist and 3 Enterprise Data Managers. You'll also work with a lot of stakeholders throughout the company.

What we have to offer

Gross annual salary between €80.000 and €103.000

Including 8% holiday allowance, a good pension and parental leave.
