Business Analyst Trade Realisation - batteries

You will translate strategy and innovation into operational reality. You are the connector between operations, IT, and commercial teams, ensuring that changes, from new assets and regulations to digital tools, are implemented smoothly in our 24/7 operations. Your focus will be on integrating batteries into our trading systems in Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. You bring structure to complexity and define what’s needed for the business and our operations. In addition, you are the point of contact towards external stakeholders such as battery suppliers, battery owners and subcontractors.

• Design, coordinate and implement operational changes related to new energy assets, legislation, or customer propositions. Initial focus is on batteries.
• Discuss implementation details and requirements with external parties
• Translate business requirements into process improvements, tooling, and data adjustments
• Act as the point of contact between operations and IT, ensuring smooth communication and delivery
• Analyse complex operational challenges and develop standardized, future-proof, data-driven solutions
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and standardization of processes

You are a thinker who knows how to connect and translate business needs into solutions by doing.

• A bachelor’s or master’s with a technical or digital focus
• You bring 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the field of energy management, flex assets and/or energy trading operations
• A proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new topics or challenges
• Strong communication skills, you can talk with experts and external parties
• The ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment and work across teams and disciplines
• Affinity with data and tools like Excel and Power BI
• A can-do and result oriented mentality and the drive to challenge the status quo
• Strong command of Dutch and English (French or German is a plus)

• Translating commercial proposals, contracts, and client needs into practical, end-to-end operational solutions
• Implementing new energy management products and processes from concept to go-live, with initial focus on batteries
• Aligning with external parties on requirements for implementation of new assets
• Safeguarding 24/7 operational continuity together with traders, IT, and dispatchers

You will join the Analytics & Realization Team, part of Trade Operations & IT. The team consists of around 18 professionals (junior to senior), including analysts, project leads and data scientists. Together, you implement change quickly, effectively, and sustainably.
