If you decide on a career at Eneco, you are choosing ambition, growth and opportunities
You will have all the space you want to improve yourself and do your job the way that suits you best, which includes having a good work-life balance. You can work to a flexible schedule and work partly from home if your role allows it.
That is how you can work on your own future and on the future of the world. After all, you and your 4,000 colleagues are committed to our mission: climate neutrality by 2035. We assist customers to accelerate their sustainability efforts, devise innovative solutions and seize opportunities with both hands. Are you ready?
Why choose Eneco?
At Eneco, we are working towards a climate-neutral energy system by 2035. Digital products and technology play a crucial role in enabling this transition.
Within Tech, we operate outcome-driven through OKRs and measurable value delivery. We continuously improve how we prioritise, deliver, and scale initiatives across our organisation.
As a Product Operations Intern, you will gain exposure to how a complex organisation translates strategy into execution, and how data supports better decision-making.
You are a Bachelor’s or Master’s student (WO level), for example in Business, Innovation, Engineering, Data, Industrial Engineering, Strategy, or a related field.
You:
• Think analytically and structurally
• Are comfortable working with data and dashboards
• Enjoy improving systems and processes
• Ask critical questions and challenge assumptions
• Communicate clearly in English (Dutch is a plus)
Experience with Agile, Kanban, OKRs, delivery tracking tools, or analytics tools is a plus - but not required.
You will:
• Support strategic tracking and initiative performance reporting
• Improve portfolio and roadmap transparency across teams
• Analyse delivery performance (cycle time, throughput, predictability)
• Help structure and optimise governance in digital tools
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to improve planning and execution alignment
• Contribute to executive-ready reporting and value narratives
• Design practical templates, dashboards, and operating standards
You will take ownership of clearly defined improvement initiatives; this is not a shadowing internship.
You will join our Tech organisation in Rotterdam, working in a hybrid setup.
You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Data specialists, gaining insight into portfolio-level decisions and strategic initiatives across Eneco.
You will be supported by experienced colleagues while being trusted with real responsibility.
