What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join Eneco’s Tech organization. You will be part of the Enterprise Support Functions value stream, which supports Finance, HR, Procurement and ERP. Your initial focus will be on the Finance domain, where you will help modernize the way financial and operational data is transformed, modelled, and used for decision-making.

In this role, you’ll make sure data from source systems such as SAP, billing platforms, and ERP is available, trustworthy, and actionable in our data platform (Snowflake + dbt). Rather than producing reports yourself, your main responsibility will be to design robust data pipelines and analytics-ready models that power dashboards and automated reporting.

You’ll work closely with the Product Manager and Finance stakeholders to define OKRs and KPIs, ensuring they are measurable and continuously tracked in Power BI dashboards. Your work ensures that the Finance domain has reliable, scalable data foundations to steer Eneco’s performance and support long-term impact.

Is this about you?

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree with a strong quantitative or technical focus
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a data role (Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, BI Analyst)
  • Strong SQL and Python skills in a cloud-based environment (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)
  • Experience with dbt and modern analytics engineering practices
  • Solid understanding of data modelling (star/snowflake schemas, KPI logic, finance/business processes)
  • Experience with Power BI (or similar) to deliver self-service dashboards
  • Strong stakeholder skills, especially when collaborating with Finance teams and Product Managers

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP/billing systems
  • Familiarity with monitoring pipelines, CI/CD practices, or data observability tools
  • Understanding of Finance processes (planning, controlling, accounting) to contextualize data needs

You’ll be responsible for

  • Partnering with Finance stakeholders and the Product Manager to define OKRs and KPIs and make them measurable through data
  • Designing and maintaining data models and transformations in dbt, ensuring high data quality and scalability
  • Collaborating with Data Engineering to extract data from SAP, billing systems, and other source systems into Snowflake
  • Building and maintaining pipelines that are monitored, tested, and automated
  • Creating self-service dashboards and metrics in Power BI, ensuring consistency across Finance
  • Driving a modern analytics engineering approach in Finance, including version control, testing, and CI/CD for analytics
  • Translating complex financial and operational data into actionable insights that support Eneco’s strategic decisions

This is where you’ll work

You’ll be part of the Data team within Eneco’s Tech organization—a collaborative group of professionals in analytics, data science, data engineering, and machine learning. You’ll work day-to-day in a cross-functional product team together with engineers, a product manager, and Finance stakeholders, while also connecting regularly with the broader data community to share knowledge, align practices, and grow your craft.
