What you’ll do

 
  • Contribute to and execute the partner management strategy in alignment with business and technology objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Grow the capabilities of the strategic partners to maximize value for the organization.
  • Manage the strategic vendor portfolio and relationships with technology partners and suppliers.
  • Guide partner negotiations to ensure quality and performance of strategic partnerships.
  • Supporting the community of practice for contract and vendor management
  • Support and advise Tech contract holder in defining the scope and supervising contracting of products and services, ensuring correct execution of agreements.
  • Oversee performance management, contract management, quality, compliance, and financial control for a contract portfolio of ~€140 million. 

Is this about you?

You are a commercially savvy leader with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. You demonstrate strategic thinking, analytical ability, and a proven track record in IT vendor management. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT vendor management, outsourcing, contract management, or procurement roles. 
  • Experience in managing large, complex IT outsourcing contracts (e.g., cloud, infrastructure, applications, managed services, hybrid). 
  • Affinity with modern business technology for utilities, energy, or natural resources. 
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Knowledge of IT service agreements, commercial contracts, and financial principles. 
  • Solid understanding of IT industry trends, legal frameworks, and compliance requirements. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation). 
  • Language: excellent command of Dutch and English (professional working proficiency). 
  • Familiarity with Agile, LEAN, ITIL, COBIT or other IT governance frameworks is a plus. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

You’ll be responsible for

As Tactical Partner Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining your vendor portfolio within the Eneco Tech vendor ecosystem. You will ensure excellence in relationship, service performance, financial, contractual and compliance management. 

  • Propose initiatives to increase cost efficiency and maximize economies of scale in the contract portfolio.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Eneco Tech extended leadership and build close relationships with Value chain/business stakeholders and Eneco Tech leads.
  • Proactively managing vendor-related risks, resolving disputes, and handling escalations efficiently.
  • Support procurement negotiating, reviewing, and managing IT service contracts, ensuring best-in-class terms, performance metrics & governance and modern contract excellence.
  • Supporting leaders to balance the trade-offs between speed-to-market, cost, risk and quality
  • Support in maturing supplier policies, governance, processes and reporting standards

This is where you’ll work

The Tech Partner Management team is a closely knit team with a mix of experts that recently have joined Eneco and those that have held several prior roles within Eneco. 

We work in the office on Monday’s and Thursdays with a flexible third day. The other days we work from home. On the days we work in the office we meet up with our stakeholders and often join with the rest of the team for lunch. 

The Tech Partner Management team consists of 4 Partner Managers and 4 team members in Operational Partner Management roles that support our stakeholders with Financial Control (budget mgmt) and Requisition to Pay activities. 

While we each have our vendor portfolio to manage we also closely work together in bringing the Partner Management function and supplier performance management to a higher level. Recently we refreshed our Tech Partner Management strategy with two sets of goals to improve our operational excellence and the supplier performance. These goals are underpinned by a set of initiatives that we jointly defined. You, like each of the team members, enjoy taking responsibility for the development and implementation for several of these improvement initiatives.

Gross annual salary between €90,000 and €110,000

Including FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance, and depending on your role a bonus or collective profit sharing.

Hybrid working: home, office or abroad

Work 40% at the office, 40% from home, and 20% flexibly. With manager approval, you may work abroad (within approved countries) up to 3 weeks/year, max 2 consecutively.
