Why choose Eneco?

Do you want to make real impact on the energy transition as a Senior Product Manager? Eneco operates a rapidly growing portfolio of connected and steerable assets across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany — including wind and solar farms, heat and power units and large‑scale batteries. With multiple Gigawatts of steerable capacity, these assets help keep the electricity grid stable, prevent blackouts and generate value in the energy and flexibility markets every day. They form the technical foundation of Eneco’s ambition to accelerate the transition to a cleaner energy system. To strengthen our team and support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager with strong domain expertise in SCADA systems and Operational Technology (OT).

What you’ll do

To connect large‑scale assets to Eneco’s Virtual Power Plant (VPP), and to monitor and steer them effectively, we rely on a portfolio of SCADA systems, connectivity and network solutions, and edge devices. As Senior Product Manager, you are end‑to‑end responsible for the product strategy and development of this portfolio. You translate Eneco’s business goals into a clear product vision and roadmap. You define KPIs and service levels, and ensure they are consistently met. You work closely with engineers, OT specialists, business stakeholders and asset operations teams to make informed decisions and set the right priorities. In this role, you modernise and scale the portfolio to support Eneco’s international growth, enable 24/7 reliable operations and meet the highest security and compliance standards.

Is this about you?

You recognise yourself in the following:

  • You have 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager in complex, technical environments.
  • You bring strong domain knowledge of OT, SCADA systems, connectivity and/or edge solutions.
  • You pair your expertise with a modern, product‑driven mindset and know how to bridge OT with IT and IoT.
  • You thrive in dynamic environments and feel comfortable working in continuously evolving contexts.
  • You understand the demands of 24/7 mission‑critical operations.
  • You are skilled in stakeholder management and can confidently navigate between engineering, operations and business teams.
  • You are data‑driven and focused on performance, reliability and continuous improvement.
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Defining and driving the product strategy and long‑term vision for our OT solutions.
  • Owning and prioritising the roadmap for SCADA systems, network and connectivity solutions, and RTUs/edge devices.
  • Managing SLAs and incident processes, and translating disruptions into structural improvements.
  • Ensuring high reliability, availability and performance across your portfolio.
  • Safeguarding that all solutions meet Eneco’s security and compliance requirements.
  • Leading end‑to‑end product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Driving the modernisation and international expansion of the portfolio.
