Why choose Eneco?

At Eneco, the energy transition is not an abstract ambition. It is something we help customers achieve every day. As Product Manager Energy Insights & Advice, you will play a key role in making energy more transparent, understandable and actionable for thousands of households. Through connected products and digital services, you help customers take control of their energy consumption and make better choices for their homes and the planet. You will join a team that combines commercial thinking, technology and sustainability.

Together, you will build products that create measurable customer value while contributing to a smarter and more flexible energy system. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging product and data-driven problems, collaborate with experienced specialists across multiple disciplines, and make a tangible impact on Eneco’s sustainability goals.

What you’ll do

As Product Manager Energy Insights & Advice, you will own and develop Eneco’s connected home energy propositions. This includes connected hardware products such as smart thermostats and energy monitoring devices, as well as the digital experiences that bring these products to life.
You will be responsible for defining and improving the customer journey, from product discovery and purchase through onboarding, activation and long-term engagement.
Working closely with engineering, design, data and commercial teams, you will identify customer needs, prioritise opportunities and translate them into valuable product experiences. You will also play a critical role in transforming large volumes of real-time energy data into insights that help customers understand their consumption, optimise their behaviour and participate more actively in the energy transition.

Is this about you?

You are an experienced Product Manager who enjoys translating complex challenges into intuitive customer experiences. You combine strong product leadership with analytical thinking and are comfortable working in environments where technology, data and customer value come together. You know how to balance customer needs, business objectives and technical possibilities while building alignment among multiple stakeholders. We believe diverse perspectives strengthen our teams. If you recognise yourself in most of the criteria below, we encourage you to apply.

You bring:

  • At least 5 years of Product Management experience across the full product lifecycle
  • Strong B2C product experience with a clear focus on end-user value
  • Experience working with agile software development teams
  • Experience with data-driven products, analytics platforms or real-time data environments
  • Proven experience in roadmap ownership, prioritisation and working with OKRs
  • The ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build strong partnerships
  • Experience developing products that drive customer engagement or behavioural change
  • It would be great if you also have:
  • Experience leading multiple development teams or product streams
  • Experience within energy, IoT, smart home ecosystems or connected devices
  • Experience within medium-sized or large organisations

You’ll be responsible for

  • Defining and executing the product vision and roadmap for Energy Insights & Advice solutions
  • Owning the app and web experience surrounding connected energy devices
  • Designing customer journeys across discovery, purchase, activation and ongoing usage
  • Creating meaningful energy insights and advice based on customer data
  • Collaborating with external hardware suppliers and internal product, engineering and data teams
  • Defining how energy data is captured, processed and translated into customer value
  • Balancing customer experience, technical feasibility and operational efficiency

This is where you’ll work

You will be part of Eneco’s Home Energy Propositions team within the B2C organisation. The team is responsible for developing products and services that help customers better understand, manage and optimise their energy consumption. You will work closely with colleagues across digital product development, software engineering, data and analytics, commercial proposition teams and IoT value chains. Together, you will build solutions that make the energy transition tangible in everyday life by helping customers make smarter heating choices, gain real-time visibility into their energy use, shift consumption to greener moments and increase autonomy over their household energy management.
