Marine & Maintenance Coordinator

As a Marine & Maintenance Coordinator, you are responsible for the planning and coordination of our offshore wind farms. You will be the linking pin between all our offshore windfarms and act as a spider in the web between vessels, maintenance teams and our Operations Control Center. Your goal is to keep the state of the windfarms to the required level. You will actively share lessons learned between sites and contribute to continuous improvement in performance, reliability, and safety.

• Bachelor degree, maritime officer or engineering qualification;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the offshore and/or wind sector is a big plus;
• Structured, showing initiative and decisive; collaborating and connecting people in an international context;
• Be results-oriented; ability to separate the essentials for the nice-to-have and keep a birds-eye view on the projects;
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing in English, Dutch is a plus. 

• Safe operation of the wind farms and contributing to a proactive safety culture.
• Providing project safety inductions for contractors, visitors and ship crews
• Perform vessel inspections before they are allowed to enter the site
• Coordination between third parties and the EWOO team. For this you approach contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders
• Translating the annual plans per windfarm to daily activities and monitor the progress
• Chairing the daily coordination meeting between all parties
• Signaling and analyzing malfunctions and directing maintenance teams
• Issuing work permits and monitoring the safety of our offshore assets
• Keeping the availability forecast of the assets up to date, in close consultation with colleagues from the Operational Control Center in Rotterdam

You will join Eneco’s Offshore Wind Operations team - a multidisciplinary group of turbine, civil, mechanical and electrical specialists, asset analysts and HSSE and ecology experts. Our teams are based in IJmuiden, Ostend and Rotterdam.

You will report to the BoP Operations Manager and work primarily from our IJmuiden office, offering a beautiful view over the North Sea. Eneco supports hybrid working: 40% in the office, 40% from home, and 20% flexibly.
