  • Join a collaborative and flexible environment where ownership, continuous improvement and personal growth are central, with hybrid working and strong development opportunities.

Why choose Eneco?

At Eneco, we're accelerating the energy transition through our One Planet Plan, with the ambition to become CO₂-neutral by 2035. Data plays a crucial role in achieving this goal. As a Collibra Engineer, you collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams and Communities of Practice to turn governance principles into working platform capabilities. You'll be part of a collaborative environment where ownership and continuous improvement are key. Together, we build reliable, scalable governance infrastructure that supports a sustainable future.

What you’ll do

You're responsible for the hands-on work that makes Collibra scalable, maintainable and useful in daily operations. About 70% of your time goes to configuring, automating and administering the platform. The other 30% is spent helping shape data governance across domains. In both areas, you translate data governance principles into platform capabilities: data products, data contracts, workflows, etc.

Is this about you?

  • Hands-on experience with Collibra or similar tool: administration, asset modeling, permissions, workflows and integrations.
  • Platform-minded engineer who enjoys turning governance requirements into scalable technical implementations.
  • Familiar with data products, data contracts, lineage and data quality monitoring.
  • Comfortable working with engineering teams and business stakeholders.
  • Preference for infrastructure-as-code over manual click-ops.
  • Able to create documentation and support business teams.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, DBT and related tooling is a strong plus.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Collibra administration: Configure and improve the Collibra platform to support ownership, access policies, lineage, glossary and data quality at scale.
  • Enable data governance: Turn governance vision into practical standards and platform capabilities for business teams.
  • Platform engineering: Integrate Collibra with core platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, etc.
  • Access control: Design and implement role-based access control.
  • Domain setup: Maintain custom domains for various business teams: B2C, B2B, Trade, Finance, etc.
  • Data products and data quality: Ensure key data products are discoverable, monitored and compliant.
  • Custom workflows: Design and implement custom Collibra workflows.
  • Lifecycle management: Support data product lifecycles and enforce best practices.
  • Training and documentation: Drive adoption of data governance through training, guidance and documentation.

This is where you’ll work

You will be part of a team focused on maintaining and improving data infrastructure. You'll work closely with engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to ensure data is discoverable and compliant by design. Our team cultivates a culture of learning, ownership and proactive problem-solving, where your contributions will have a direct impact on our technology landscape.
