Eneco is an international energy company dedicated to accelerating the energy transition. At Eneco, everyone is working towards the same mission: becoming climate neutral by 2035. No empty promises, just doing. We help consumers and businesses switch to sustainable energy. Not by making them feel like they have to, but by showing what is possible. That is how Eneco illuminates. By sharing knowledge. By providing insight. By making energy so understandable that the choice comes naturally. Understandable rather than complicated.
Offshore wind plays a key role in achieving Eneco’s ambition to expand sustainable energy production. Over the next decade, offshore wind will see significant growth across Northwest Europe. The industry is evolving rapidly — in technology, market dynamics, and regulation — making it an exciting and fast-paced environment to work in.
We are looking for an Asset Manager for the Underwater Scope to join our Balance of Plant (BoP) team. In this role, you will oversee the underwater scope of all offshore windfarms, ensuring the integrity, performance, and long-term reliability of subsea infrastructure including cables, foundations, and scour protection. You will be responsible for optimizing asset lifecycle value through risk-based maintenance, contractor management, compliance, and strategic planning across operational offshore assets. You will actively share lessons learned between sites and contribute to continuous improvements.
You thrive in dynamic environments and adapt quickly to new challenges. With strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You are result focused and know how to get things done. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a commercial mindset.
Furthermore, you have:
Eneco Wind Operations Offshore (EWOO) manages the operations of several offshore wind farms, including Prinses Amaliawindpark (120 MW), Luchterduinen (129 MW), Blauwwind (731.5 MW), Two Towers (19 MW), and Crosswind (759 MW). The portfolio will soon expand with the Ecowende project (780 MW), scheduled for commissioning in 2026. Through our experience and knowledge, EWOO contributes continuously to improving the development and operation of new offshore wind farms.
EWOO is a multidisciplinary group of turbine, civil, mechanical and electrical specialists, asset analysts and HSSE and ecology experts. Our teams are based in IJmuiden, Ostend and Rotterdam.
You will report to the BoP Operations Manager and work primarily from our IJmuiden office, offering a beautiful view over the North Sea. Eneco supports hybrid working: 40% in the office, 40% from home, and 20% flexibly.
