Flexible budget

At Eneco, you can choose what fits your needs. That’s what we call our flexible budget. You get a percentage on top of your gross monthly salary (including holiday allowance).
You can use this budget in a way that suits you. You can choose to:
  • have it paid out monthly,
  • have it paid out later in the year,
  • buy extra vacation days, or
  • buy an (electric) bike through the bike plan.
This way, you tailor your benefits to your situation.

Collective Labour Agreement (CLA)

Most Eneco colleagues fall under the Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) Production and Supply Company. Read more about the employment benefits in the Plb CAO.

Hybrid working

At Eneco, we think it’s important that your work fits your life. That’s why you get the freedom to choose where you work: at home, in the office or at one of our locations. We use the 40-40-20 principle, where you and your team agree on how you divide your time between home and the office. This keeps work enjoyable, efficient and sustainable.
Do you have a role where working from home isn’t possible, for example because you work on-site or visit customers? Then we look together at what works best for you in your role.
To support flexible working, you’ll receive a home working or expense allowance, depending on your contract. We also help you set up an ergonomic workspace at home. And if you want to combine work and private life in a smarter way, you can work from abroad for a while with your manager’s approval. For example, you can stay with family or combine work with travel. This is possible for up to three working weeks per calendar year, with a maximum of two consecutive weeks and only in approved countries.

Social Fund

At Eneco, we don’t just focus on the work we do together, but also on each other. That’s why we have the Eneco Social Fund: a fund by and for colleagues. If you temporarily need financial support, you can turn to this fund.
Every employee in the Netherlands automatically contributes €1 net per month, and Eneco matches all contributions. Together, you build a fund that’s there when a colleague really needs it.
Don’t want to take part? You can easily adjust this after you start.

Working at Eneco

At Eneco, you work with colleagues who all share the same goal: making sustainable energy available to everyone. You do this in different teams and fields, from engineering and operations to IT and customer service.
You work at one of our locations or in a hybrid setup, depending on your role. Think of places like Rotterdam, IJmuiden, Utrecht or at our customers’ sites. Wherever you are, you’ll notice how we collaborate, support each other and take responsibility.
What connects us is our drive to move forward. In our work, and as an organisation. You get the space to share your ideas and contribute to solutions that truly make an impact.
