At Eneco, we're building a workplace where everyone can be themselves.

Pride. That’s the feeling that stands out most now that the latest Workplace Pride Global Benchmark results have been announced. Eneco is one of the strongest risers, achieving a score of 48% in 2025.It’s a result that shows our efforts to create an inclusive work environment are being recognised. But more importantly, it motivates us to keep going. Because at Eneco, we believe everyone should be able to be themselves at work.

A workplace where everyone feels welcome

At Eneco, we work every day to build a culture where colleagues feel seen, heard, and valued. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are not separate topics for us. They are an important part of who we are as an employer.
You can see this in the way we work together, communicate, and support one another. A workplace where people can be themselves helps talent grow and makes colleagues feel connected to each other and to our mission.
As we often say: "Diversity, equity, and inclusion play an important role in this. It goes beyond behaviour alone; it’s also reflected in the facilities we provide and the way we communicate with one another."

A wonderful recognition of our efforts

Over the past year, we have taken extra steps to strengthen LGBTIQ+ inclusion within our organisation. These efforts are now reflected in the results of the Workplace Pride Global Benchmark, an evidence-based assessment that is widely recognised internationally as an important measure of inclusion.
With a score of 48% in 2025, Eneco is one of the strongest risers in the benchmark.
We’re proud of that. Not because we think we’ve already reached our goal, but because it shows that the steps we’re taking are making a real difference.

Proud of what we’ve achieved. Ambitious about what’s still possible.

This recognition feels like an important milestone. At the same time, we don’t see it as the finish line.
We will continue to build a working environment where everyone feels safe to be themselves. Where differences are valued. And where colleagues have the space to bring their own perspectives, experiences, and talents to work every day.
Or, as we like to put it: "A great step forward, and at the same time an encouragement to keep building a workplace where everyone can be themselves."
With a score of 48% in 2025, Eneco is one of the strongest risers in the benchmark.

Together, we make a difference.

Inclusion doesn’t happen on its own. It grows when colleagues speak up, listen to one another, and work together to create a culture where everyone can take part and feel they belong.
The strong results in the Workplace Pride Global Benchmark give us the energy to keep moving forward. Because the more inclusive our organisation becomes, the stronger we are together.
And that makes us incredibly proud.
